Game Updates (or patches) are major content releases for Blade & Soul. Historically, Blade & Soul received major updates every few months. This frequency was particularly high from launch through 2018, as NCWest accelerated the release schedule to synchronize the NA/EU version with the Korean live servers.
Under NCWest’s management, Blade & Soul utilized semantic versioning (version numbers), which was unique for the Western distributions of the game.
In September 2021, NCWest modernized its website by migrating to a new Content Management System (CMS). Consequently, most articles published prior to the Blade & Ghoul patch (October 2019) were removed. While a few select posts from 2015 were preserved, the majority of the archives spanning 2015 to 2019 are currently inaccessible on the official site. Although the website was redesigned in June 2025 to align with the Korean interface, these legacy articles were not restored.
To conserve this data, this page provides a complete mirror of all Blade & Soul update logs. This archive fills the gaps left by official site migrations, hosting every patch note from 2016 through the most recent version. Please note that some minor patches are excluded and, due to inconsistencies in the original official source, formatting may vary across different entries.
