Since the unravelling of the Aerodrome incident, the New Masters have been focused on tracking down the kidnappers. Meanwhile, the Talus Investigation Bureau made a shocking discovery. The Aerodrome was powered by neither Soulstones nor Dark Chi, but by an ancient force, both older and more dangerous than Dark Chi, called Chaos. It speaks to the worst impulses of mortals and devastates all it touches.

After Talus agents scoured the continent for information, all clues point to the infamous "Architect"—a man with a goal to overthrow the Empress and lead a revolution by weaponizing Chaos to turn ordinary people into living weapons. End the Architect's treacherous plans and seal away the Chaos to preserve the Realm!

Boss Encounters

Substratum Securobot Kaliburn

Once the Security Alarm has been activated, Kaliburn incinerates intruders using spinning Flamethrowers.

To reach the boss, which is positioned on the opposite side of the entrance, you must get past two Flamethrowers that spew fire in a 270° radius. By using either a knockdown or stun ability, the Flamethrowers will rotate, allowing you to move closer to the boss. Once you've reached Kaliburn, dish out quick damage to defeat it or the boss will use its Rush to move to the entrance, forcing you to rotate the Flamethrowers once more to move back!

The Architect

The Architect uses toxic gas, explosives and Chaos to deal with infiltrators.

Once the mechanics begin, a randomly selected user will be grabbed and thrown to the edge of the arena, causing paralysis due to a Stone Rubble that covers you. As a toxic gas radiates from the edges where you land, another member of your party should be quick to break the Stone Rubble to free you.

Shortly after, the Architect plants a Gas Bomb on the furthest user. Five seconds after it's planted, the users will take high damage from a Gas Poisoning unless the Gas Bomb has been transferred from the furthest user to another member of the party. Ten seconds after it's planted, the Gas Bomb will be deployed, falling from the ceiling on top of the user. The user must be quick to avoid the Gas Bomb detonating on top of any of the six stones located around the arena.

If successful, two stones will remain. One of the stones should be used to have the Architect ram into the stone, forcing the Architect into a temporary daze. The other stone should be used as protection by the user hiding behind it in time for the Manic Heatwave attack, saving you from taking high damage.
